It really was a blast!
Wow! We really suck at updating. You'd think we actually had productive things to do.
So, yes, my days are spent waking up a whole work day earlier than usual, thanks to the nights spent in Kambot's bed. I usually leave when he goes to work and return in the evening. I have the entire day to do things, important things. But don't. Instead, I click things. Stupid things. Like just now, I heard a clip of Ashley Simpson's Orange Bowl performance. (Man that girl is gonna bring her sister down) I also clicked an article on the best condoms.
I did go to the wave pool yesterday. That was excitingly fun. Everyone should go. It was a little strange being there without a kid, actually it wasn't.
OMG! I haven't even told you about my amazing New Year's...
Well, it all started out with a flip of a coin to see which car we'd take. Then off to find Sherbrooke. We found it! In fact we found two Sherbrooke's. When we finally made it there, with a grumpy driver, all was good. So good in fact we happen to pull in behind a fellow friend. We make it up to our rooms, and not a second later, do we lock ourselves out. hehehe. Down to get a new key, elevators were a half hour wait to get on, so we opted to climb 11 flights of stairs (I was really feeling it by the second flight.) Normally, I wouldn't complain so mauch but I had a crazy horrible head cold. It was going to be a silly trip.
A short walk later, we make it to a nice little Indian restaurant, where I had my first biryani. (I've seen an extra "i" in the spelling before but it wasn't on the menu so I'll stick with my menu's spelling.) I think the place was called 'Le Jardin de L'Inde' or Le Jardin of something else... Anyways, all was yummy and back to the hotel and its crazy stairs.
hrmm... I'm missing lots...
11:30 comes around and we decide to walk to Jacques Cartier Parc for some fireworks and dancing. Fun stuff. The long uphill walk back was so much fun because it was in the pouring rain. The nyquil, dayquil and all that booze seemed to help my cold as I didn't end up with a pneumonia but I did have to cut the trip a day short because of the looong walk to a Smoke Meat Deli Shop. Funniest lunch ever, we sat there for a while before we got our menus, were given hours to make up our mind on the menu choices only to be told that the cook didn't show up today and they can only make one thing. All was tasty though, although I wish I had ordered room service instead.
Wow! That sounds like the worst trip ever doesn't it?
